hey all- thought I'd add a few pics from the trip to Boise... the funny looks on Mom and Alan's faces are in response to some of Dad's more 'creative' ideas in a game we played...VERY creative...the hotsprings are in Stanley...nice view from the pool eh? We thought about buying the property but 14 million was a little hi for us (tho you do get the gas station, hotel, cafe and more). We had a great time in Boise and loved getting one last look at the Sawtooths (Sawteeth?) one more time before we go to Spain...4 weeks from Monday we fly!

Boise's newest resident!

Gatita (Alan & Sunni's cat) travelled to Boise with them last Friday. We have all had a great time swimming, talking, playing games, eating and just hanging out. Gatita had such a wonderful time here that she decided to stay:) She will be an Idaho resident while Alan & Sunni travel to Madrid. We will miss them so much - but we will enjoy having the cat here for company.

4th of July in NC
Over the 4th we went camping for the first time. We had a great time at Lake James. The kids loved getting dirty, throwing things in the fire, and hitting the lake complete with a white sandy beach. It was a great trip, and hopefully the first of many. I hope all of you enjoyed a safe and happy 4th.

ALAN & SUNNI SAY "I DO'S" IN SUNNY SEATTLE!
THE RESULTS OF A DAY OF BEAUTY;)I flew up Friday morning and Sunni & I spent the afternoon getting pampered at the Habitat Spa. Well worth it don't you think???
Gavin treated us to a night at the Renaissance - here we are after soaking in the hot tub overlooking the city lights on the 28th floor.

In keeping with the family tradition we started, Sunni chose to wear a cast as one of her wedding accessories. Classic black is always appropriate!!

Beautiful day (72 degrees, no wind and not a single cloud in the sky), beautiful bride (Sunni in her "wedding shawl"), beautiful couple, and beautiful ceremony. They were married at 1:00 at Battery Park. (In keeping with the "Murphey's Law of Weddings" that states that NO wedding will go off without a hitch, the Reverand thought the wedding was an hour later than Sunni scheduled it!) The vows fit Sunni and Alan "beautifully". We celebrated with lunch (including popcorn shrimp-the source of Alan's smile) at Chinooks. We loved sharing their special day with them.
