ALAN & SUNNI SAY "I DO'S" IN SUNNY SEATTLE!

THE RESULTS OF A DAY OF BEAUTY;)

I flew up Friday morning and Sunni & I spent the afternoon getting pampered at the Habitat Spa. Well worth it don't you think???

Gavin treated us to a night at the Renaissance - here we are after soaking in the hot tub overlooking the city lights on the 28th floor.

In keeping with the family tradition we started, Sunni chose to wear a cast as one of her wedding accessories. Classic black is always appropriate!!

Beautiful day (72 degrees, no wind and not a single cloud in the sky), beautiful bride (Sunni in her "wedding shawl"), beautiful couple, and beautiful ceremony. They were married at 1:00 at Battery Park. (In keeping with the "Murphey's Law of Weddings" that states that NO wedding will go off without a hitch, the Reverand thought the wedding was an hour later than Sunni scheduled it!) The vows fit Sunni and Alan "beautifully". We celebrated with lunch (including popcorn shrimp-the source of Alan's smile) at Chinooks. We loved sharing their special day with them.

Tiptoe (or roll your ankle) through the Tulips

I went to the tulip festival last weekend for the first (and probably last) time. I was so busy taking pictures that I rolled my ankle into a furrough (sp?). So I have had probably the first and only tulip festival/photography injury know to man. I am now back in an ankle boot--only this time it's my 'good' foot. I think it was fate--mom reminded me she got married in a cast, and now I'll get married in a boot...tradition. Hope everyone is well. Love, Sunni

I had the Weekend off and we went to Tent Rocks, about an hour from our house. Brookie took her friend Harrison. We put in laminate in our kitchen on Saturday and Honey an I are very sore today. Thanks to Mom for doing our taxes, the return allowed us to do our floor. Hope everyone is doing well.

What we've been up to in ABQ (and MT)

In Montana, for Spring Break, Brookie got a hair cut and the kids scored lots of candy and boiled eggs with their other cousins.

Will and Dan went to the Zoo and they rode the train.

Emma and Brookie had a Barbie Island Karaoke Party with their friends. It was a huge hit.

We decided to hike to the top of the Volcanoes by our house on the windiest day in recorded ABQ history (probably not really).
